This is about MB's teeth position on the mouthpiece bite plate.

I have tried to check MB's teeth position on bite plate.
The result is "The position is quite near the FRONT"

First of all, I found some MB blowing side views in video that show the relative mouthpiece position.
And I measured demension of my Guadala. (not handmade one -- but size must be almost same as original one)
In first pic, red lines show the bite plate position.
I do not know the thickness of MB's upper lip thickness, so let me suppose that is 10mm or so.
By this consumption, MB puts the teeth on 5 or 6mm from front bite end.

In fact, I have been asking to myself, my bite position is too short (near front).
This conclusion made me happy a little bit .

If anyone knows the fact, please let me know.

バイトプレート位置

マウスピースと前歯の接触位置に関してです。
私ごとですが、自分はマウスピースをかなり薄くくわえています。
私のマウスピースには、バイトプレートの手前ぎりぎりに歯形がついています。
普通はバイトプレートの真ん中あたりに前歯を置くのが一般的のようで、私の方法はかなり特殊なのかと思っています。
さて、MBはどうなのでしょうか？
ちょっと興味深いので、検証してみました。

方法は、MBの演奏ビデオから真横からのアングルを見つけて、マウスピースの寸法に照らし合わせて予測すればよいでしょう。
なかなか真横のショットはありませんが、見つけることができました。
マウスピースは例のガーデラですので、手持ちのガーデラ（レプリカですが）で寸法は測れます。

さて結論ですが、
MBの前歯はおそらくバイトプレートの相当手前に置かれているようです。

上の写真にはガーデラの写真を並べてあります。赤の線がバイトプレート位置です。
残念ながらMBの上唇の厚さは分かりませんが、5~6mm程度かと思います。
そうすると、写真から見て、前歯の位置はバイトプレートのかなり手前になるわけです。

マウスピースのフェイスを遠くに置くことで、タンギングの自由度が広がるのかもしれません。
