Round Midnight -- MB frequently played by sax solo.
This is on a live at Leverkusen by MB quartetto, start number.
Key is B ( Db on Bb ) as the original.
At the intro part, MB starts with calm tones.
Theme (with a fake) begins at 28 bar.
Around 97 bar, delicate phrases continue.
Especially, phrases arond 123 bar make highlight scene.
After that, continuous arpeggio (MB's favorite) starts at 137 bar.
After this tune, MB continues "Delta City Blues", --- first part is also solo.
Totally, MB plays 10 minutes sax solo.
この曲もMBが好んでソロの題材にした曲です。
LeverkusenでのMBカルテットライブですが、冒頭のこの曲はMBのソロで始まります。
キーは原曲通り B （BbではDb ）。
最初のイントロ部分は静かな立ち上がり
２８小節目からはテーマとそのフェイク。
９７小節付近から細かなフレーズが連発します。
特に１２３小節からのフレーズは圧巻です。
１３７小節からはお得意のアルペジオ
この後は続けて「Delta City Blues」のメドレーになりますが、これも最初はサックスSoloで、合わせて都合１０分あまりMBのサックス一本の舞台となっています。
